A credit union is a not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and controlled by the people who use its services. These people are members and shareholders. Credit unions exist to provide a safe, convenient place for members to save money and to get loans at reasonable rates. Profits are returned to members in the form of low fees, lower loan rates, and higher interest on savings.
Similar to a bank, we offer a full range of financial services. However, there are essential differences. As a not-for-profit financial institution, you’re not a customer; you’re a member. And it’s this member-owner philosophy that sets the tone in the service you receive.
